Corfe Castle Community Pre-School
At Corfe Castle Community Pre-School we provide nurturing care and stimulating education for children aged two years and over in our fantastic purpose-built home.
We focus on providing a safe and caring environment, with lots of opportunities for children to explore new activities, so that they discover the world for themselves and learn at their own pace. We aim to open up their horizons, help them make friends to grow up with and give them the confidence to make the most of life right from the start.
Lots of activities are taken outdoors, (daily run, wellie walks and lots more), as we believe that fresh air, fun and exercise help our children to be happy and healthy.
Our Ofsted Record
We are Ofsted regulated and inspected, with consistently good reports, and we work within the Early Years Foundation Stage – the universal guidelines for early years education which was first introduced in 2008.
About Us
Corfe Castle Community Pre-School is a not-for-profit charity which is managed by the volunteers of the Parents Management Committee. Every penny we earn in fees goes straight back into making the service we provide better.
Every parent is automatically a member of the Committee, although the key roles, (chair, treasurer, secretary etc.), are filled via nomination at the annual AGM.
The aim of the Parents Management Committee is to ensure that the Pre-School provides the best learning and nurturing environment possible for its pupils. To fulfil this aim, the Committee is responsible for setting fees and wages, fundraising, staff monitoring and recruitment, business planning, building upkeep and promoting the Pre-School.
